Got something to say?

Buy My Book!

Update July 2008: If you like these tutorials and would like to read more like these, except updated for ExpressionEngine 1.6 and with tons more information, tips, tricks and recommendations, check out my new book, Building Websites with ExpressionEngine 1.6. Available either directly from Packtpub.com or from your local online bookstore (such as Amazon), this book uses the same clear, step-by-step approach found in these tutorials and walks you from the basics of installing ExpressionEngine to everything you need to know to have an ExpressionEngine website you can be proud of. (No prior knowledge of ExpressionEngine assumed).

If you’re interested in becoming a writer or an editor for these tutorials, register yourself at my main site www.leoandmeg.com and I’ll upgrade your membership, giving you access to all the tutorials and templates. Don’t forget to say that’s why you’re registering, otherwise I might not upgrade you. Whether it’s correcting spelling mistakes or writing brand new tutorials, I can sure use some help smile

This site rocks.  I was so lost on to how to proceed once I got the “server” setup.  This site definitely got me headed in the right direction.

I just wanted to say “Thank you” to you and anyone else involved in creating these tutorials!

Forever grateful!
Katie

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial. You helped me grasp the relationships of these EE terms that are so new to me. It just wasn’t clicking for me before I read your site.
If there was a scout badge for helping newbies avoid nervous breakdowns, you would deserive it!

Thanks for the comment Lisa - it’s always nice to hear back from readers, even 4 years after I wrote the tutorials. Good luck with your site!
